Beyonce cancels her show in Turkey after Kurdish attack - Oct 23, 2007
Beyonce has called off her concert in Istanbul due to the 12 soldiers killed in a Kurdish rebel attack. The show was part of the Beyonce Experience Tour, and was arranged by soccer club Fenerbahce to celebrate its 100th anniversary. A representative for Fenerbahce said, "We share our nation's grief". "We are cancelling our 100th anniversary concert." "It was not possible for [the concert] to be held in such an atmosphere."
